Tips to Kickstart a Healthy Lifestyle

hey guys so in today's video I'm going to show you some little tips and tricks and stuff I do to try to live a healthier lifestyle so the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is I like to drink some water it is very important to get your metabolism going and sometimes I like to add chia seeds because I like the way it tastes and it kind of fills you up a little bit and it's just a good booster for the day and then I head on downstairs to get myself some breakfast because breakfast is the most important meal of the day you so one of my favorite foods for breakfast is Greek yogurt with fruit and that is because it is filling yet it's still light enough for days when I'm going to work out so then they go ahead and pull out my favorite workout up is called pump up you can choose like the amount of time that you want to workout today I chose to do 45 minutes you can choose the location it's just an amazing app so you guys should totally download it it's just awesome you guys can literally see all the different like add-ons and everything you could do with this workout apps so I just got my workout ready and then while that's getting ready and I'm just trying to like get my mind ready I go ahead and finish my breakfast then I actually head on over to the bathroom and I tell myself I don't want to workout but then I'm like but I need to so I just throw my hair up in a ponytail and I just like to do two simple things I like to wash my face and brush my teeth because I'm not gonna shower before a workout but I definitely still want to feel clean it's in some way so those are the two little things that I do then I finally throw on my workout clothes and I'm ready to go so now that I'm finally ready to begin my workout this app will literally guide me through my entire workout the first thing is showing me to do is just these lateral squats that are kind of like a warm-up and it's stretching me out and then the next thing I'm going to flip on through and it's going to show me to do these arm crosses so that's what I'm going to do and then one of my favorite cardio exercises is running so that's what I'll do next so then midway through my day I obviously try to stick to a healthy lunch but I like trying new recipes because sometimes you know healthy recipes can get pretty boring so here I'm eating an avocado pita pizza with cilantro sauce that I made all at home I will have a video showing you guys to some healthy lunch ideas so one simple but important tip I like to remind myself is that it is okay to pamper yourself sometimes you just have to take those extra 10 20 minutes to yourself you know just take care of yourself and have good hygiene it makes you feel good about yourself and when you feel good about yourself you tend to live a healthier life so I throw in some perfume and I whip my hair back and forth now I'm totally kidding about that I just want some perfume and I get all ready and dressed up for my day and dolled up and I just go about my day you and one of the last things I like to do is I like to keep healthy snacks on hand for those days when I'm extra hungry or when I'm extra bored and I want to snack on something I love kombucha and these simple meal bars so that's pretty much it for this video I hope you guys enjoyed it if you did please give this video a thumbs up follow me on Twitter and Instagram and I'll see you guys next time bye

  20. I don't wanna be rude, but you are using the app wrong. If you go to your workout, there's a little button at the top that says start and it'll give you the amount of reps and time to do certain workouts and basically walks you through the workout 🙂
