Planet Fitness: 30 Minute Workouts


TIME FOR A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS SEGMENT. BEING HEALTHY MAY BE DIFFICULT, SO PLANET FITNESS HAS 30 MINUTE WORKOUTS TO HELP US STAY ON TRACK DURING THE SEASON. GREEN MEANS GO AND READ YOU GO — AND STOP AND MOVE ON. MAKING IT CONVENIENT AND EASY TO FOLLOW. SARAH: SAM, WHAT ARE THE KINDS OF THINGS PEOPLE DO ON THE CIRCUIT? LIKE HE SAID, IT IS A FULL BODY WORKOUT. START WITH CARDIO WHEN THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN, THEN YOU MOVE ON TO YOUR FIRST STRENGTH EXERCISE AND THEN YOU MOVE AROUND THE ROOM. THERE ARE STEPS INVOLVED, BUT YOU CAN DO OTHER THINGS TO BRING YOUR HEART RATE UP, SUCH AS LIFTING MINIS — LIFTING THE KNEES. SARAH: I CAN DO THAT. IF I CAN DO IT, ANYBODY CAN . YOU CAN MOVE SIDE TO SIDE. SARAH: IT IS ALL ABOUT MOVING. SO WHEN THE LION TURNS GREEN YOU MOVE AND WHEN THE LINE TURNS RED — THEN YOU HAVE THE EXERCISES AT THE END.   2. Gyms need to be intimidating

  3. Don't join if you plan on the 30 min. workout. The facilities are understaffed and don't educate the users on the principles involved with circuit training. You have members come into the 30 min. room, go straight to a specific machine and then do multiple sets without regard to the flow. Managers will do nothing…. Total joke.

  8. Its a fitness center for the ones who know nothing about working out. Its like headstart before 1st grade.

  9. I like this idea a full body work out .
    I don't want to just go there doing Radom stuff that doesn't do anything cos I am not doing it right .
    I think curves did this as well back in the days .

  10. I bought instruction from Unflexal Workouts and I learned about workouts much more.

  11. A lot of people trash this place, but in 3 years that i have been working out I have gained the most strength and muscle in the 3 months of joining PF and doing full body 3 times a week. I do 3 rounds full body and it kicks my ass!!

  12. its hot during the summer so i dont like using my home gym.. and winter is too cold , so im gonna get the year…
