NEGATIVE & MENTAL EFFECTS OF BODYBUILDING – Massthetics: Episode #2



[Applause] so my guys good things fun you take me up again oh all right what does many guys welcome back to episode two of masked etics Episode one was honestly sick so like the whole point of this video is just show you guys my lifestyle what I do and just overall reflect on my life because you guys see what I do on Instagram you guys see I try to keep it as real as possible but I'm just showing you guys my life so this episode like me and Mark we have our own series this it's just like legit my life I want this be like a reality TV show so that's how the last episode was but guys today I want to show you guys my special little baby I know everyone knows that I want that g-wagen that Mercedes G wedding is coming soon well this is my car it's a 2019 Toyota Corolla LE and I finally finished it so I finally got all my tints done my rims done and I'm just super stoked I love I've got my little spoiler on any like for a nice car like this I'm just super happy because one it's a brand new car and two I'm finally done with it you know how you guys always want to add to something but then you know it's gonna take time I'm just happy because I finally finished it and I'm done with this project until you got another car oh yeah check it out I'm freakin stoked about it and I love it this just goes to show like so many people think that they give to drive an insanely nice car I'm not that type of person like there's so many people that like say they've made it or they're freaking rich as hell and it's like I don't get it like people just like literally fake flex for Instagram but it's like I have a car that gets me to everywhere I need to go 100% perfectly to its brand new three it looks good and it's like four it's not costing me a fortune so I just want to say you don't have to fake flex for people to think you're cool man just do yourself all right yeah so today in this episode I know last episode we talked about some pre-workout nutrition and stuff along the nature so today I'm gonna give you guys kind of like an update on my life competing and what's gonna be happening within the next few months and just kind of like the overall mentality for your bodybuilding and just like mental state versus physical state so as you guys know right now I'm an offseason I'm gaining weight I've obviously put on a lot of body weight and I've put out a little bit of body fat but like mentally and just like physically I'm okay with this I like that's what happens in offseason you can't expect to maintain and be like super shredded as if you're doing a show so basically as you guys know on my IG and stuff we talked about I wanted to do a national show this summer but mentally I wasn't ready I was dieting for so frickin long and your body's natural defense is to like try to stop it so we just got so hard that I've been dieting for so long so basically the longer you're dieting the harder is my metabolism was so down regulated because I did an entire Arnold Classic prep and then for the next two months I was traveling literally the frickin United States doing photo shoots back and forth in every location and me having to hold my conditioning and like for example I hold my conditioning I go home I eat cheese hit her a blow up and then ayodhya back down again it was just I was looks like legit killing myself killing my body and physically I wanted to do a national show this summer because I just know everyone wanted me to do and I know I was just trying to set that record for the youngest pro in the world and I can still hold that record next year I'm not worried anymore but I just wanted to get it done with this summer and it just felt so stress my cortisol levels are so high my machado so down regulated and like I physically could not do any more so I just had a stop because I knew this wasn't my time I shouldn't have done it and I just gave in and I feel way much better on life so you guys gonna know physically and mentally if you're ready to do something so I think you guys want to do a show you have to know that you're ready to do a show like right now I'm in offseason and my next show I plan on doing Arnold Classic in 2020 and then hopefully from there I will go and do the Chicago Pro New York Pro Rekha I'm gonna try to qualify for the Olympia next year but like what I'm saying now is if I'm preparing to do the Arnold next year so I'm going to be able to do this prep easy I'm gonna be in a caloric surplus to where I can bring down and lower my macros and I don't lose weight I don't have to do everything so hard like when I travel is unless downregulated I was pushing and digging so much harder than I wouldn't even need you if my body was just back and reset to normal so you guys just gonna know mentally and physically you guys are ready to do something and just for example just go I wasn't ready my body wasn't ready so I cancel it it actually I wasn't gonna do it I care about my health and longevity in this sport I only freakin 19 and if I was about to be burnt out at 19 like that's not the case I have a long time in the fitness industry guys I'm gonna be here for a long time so I'm spacing out taking care of myself inside and out your body's like a car you need to make sure that in size just as good and fueling and running just as good as the outside look at the end of the day if you don't feel good if you're not happy with your doing and if you're not happy with yourself then you'll never achieve the success that you want so I hate to pull off from that show pull out I don't fucking pull out for up I'm kidding yeah I pulled out from that show and I just feel much better with life I'm able to live my life now and like I said longevity is key so you just got to have that time where you enjoy your life and actually live and hang out with your friends hang out with your family see people and do the stuff you don't need to do because when it comes time to prep it's all that's gone and it's time to get done what you need to get done so just make sure you're ready and that's kind of my tip just remember the inside is just as important as the out so we finally made it to the gym last time we filmed the MGP fitness but we're changing it up and we're at UFC gym one of my chicks works here but she sent me the wrong address man so we've been driving around for hours not getting a few extra minutes yeah about to kill this workout you brought it Marvin Devine Jordan screaming give me more I know my future is part of this [Applause] got a family to feed I
