Removing tick : with improper removal the tick can vomit Watch the bite. Also put either lavender essential oil, a very strong salve, coconut oil, plantain a lot, oregano oil mixed with coconut oil. Keep it continually applied at the bite for next 3 days. For 150 lb: 2-3000 mg astragalus daily. also can take polygonum and cats claw 2000 mg each. for no less than 30 days. More exact dosages at www.buhnerhealinglyme.com For 50 lb child/animal : 250 mg of astragalus daily for at least 30 days Astragalus is also good for whole year. The sooner the better with starting so for now just go to health food store and get pills. But to acquire herbs you can either order in bulk from a good herb source or support locally buying tinctures or herbs from me. Lyme and antibiotics: I recommend that even with antibiotics that Japanese knotweed, cats claw, and astragalus (if the astragalus doesn't exacerbate Lyme arthritis) at Buhners suggested dosage (www.buhnerhealinglyme.com) and it will even helps the antibiotics be more effective, and have almost contraindications (cats claw is blood thinning, so be mindful.) The idea of taking antibiotics prophylactic for 2-3 days as some doctors prescribe is not sufficient and is recommended against by most. If one did choose that as their treatment, it would be smart to take the herbs suggested, at least Japanese knotweed. Testing inaccuracy: How do we know if the tick even had Lyme ? It's about 50 percent accuracy and the testing is horrible, better is if you save the tick and get that tested by igenex but it's out of pocket I believe. But otherwise the method is to treat as if you did, and watch for symptoms. Animal Lyme protocol:Compliance with dog or cat is a bigger issue than with humans. One may need to gradually increase herb powders mixed into food over a week. Dosage for dog/cat: 1. Astragalus, cat's claw, Japanese knotweed, 1/4-1/2 powdered tsp of each, mixed into food. One will have to give for 3-6 months daily. 2. Add 1-2 tsp coconut oil to the diet to help increase solubility of alkaloids in the herbs 3. Consider "optimal diet change" for proper immune function Reply Terri Cusson April 29, 2019 Thanks Dan, lots of good information Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
