Knowledge is Power – the KEY to well being

It blows my mind how many people I meet or
come across that don’t read, that don’t learn. Literally anything you could ever want to
know is available to you out there, is at your fingertips. Whether you want to be a better communicator,
whether you want to have a better relationship with your family, your significant other,
whether you want to start a business, whether you want to get in shape. Anything you could ever want to know is out
there available to you. Learn, read, teach yourself, make this a habit
of your life. Now, if you don’t like reading like I do,
there’s audio books. Pretty much any book you can get out there
in audio format, you can listen to it when you’re in transit, you can listen to it while
you’re doing other things. Always be putting good ideas into your mind. The other benefit I find from this is that
it helps alleviate feelings of depression and being stuck. The moments in my life that I’ve often felt
stuck or depressed or lost I wasn’t learning, I wasn’t expanding my ideas, I wasn’t putting
new ideas into my mind on a regular basis. And you start to slow down, your brain just
starts to operate different, I find. Versus when you’re constantly giving yourself
fresh ideas and learning new things. Develop an eclectic mix of knowledge, you
never know how it’s going to benefit you. Steve Jobs was known for this, learning about
things. The classic story of him learning calligraphy
in university, his calligraphy class. And then he took that later and it was that
attention to detail for art and beautiful fonts that he brought to his Apple computers. Make this a habit of your life, if you’re
not used to this take 10 minutes a day, 10 minutes, read something new, learn something
new. The benefits in your life will be phenomenal.
