Kids Healthy Food | Lunchbox ideas | Priyanka Uppal

hey guys welcome back to the channel today's video has been a highly requested one I will be sharing kids meals lag ideas and if you like this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel so I can continue to create more videos like this so without further ado let's jump right in the first recipe we are making today is potato beans and cheese cutlets to make these cutlets I am taking two medium sized boiled potatoes 1/3 cup boiled rajma or red kidney beans 1/2 cup paneer and 1/4 of a cup powdered herbs or oat flour and salt and pepper to taste we will start by mashing potatoes and then add paneer followed by beans salt pepper and oats and give it all a good mix now you can form little cutlets either by rolling them using your hands or a little scooper just cook them out on a dish or baking tray spray them with some oil and gently press them down to give them a cutlet shape and then we'll heat some oil in a pan and fry them until they are crispy and golden brown on both sides time to check and put them there we go that looks so crispy perfectly done you can obviously fry these of course if you'd like and here we are without testosterone giving it a taste test so he approved it let's move on to the next recipe hummus and cheese sandwich to make hummus I took a cup of boiled chana or garbanzo beans or chickpeas 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds 1/2 lime or lemon 2 cloves garlic 1 tablespoon cumin seeds for jeera powder and 1/4 of a cup of olive oil and salt to taste now no rocket science there just blend all the ingredients together in a food processor or blender until a thick creamy paste is formed now some hummus recipes do call for water but I am not using any water in this recipe because I'm using it a sandwich bread so I want to keep it thick but if your blender is not moving of course you know go ahead and add some water or oil whatever you like that's it our hummus is ready moving on I took two slices of whole grain bread and spread the hummus and sprinkled some mozzarella cheese over it and just topped it with some butter orky whatever you like and tada the sandwich is ready served it up with some grapes and cucumber that combination is Ryan's favorite but you can use what whatever you like and yeah looks like the tester is busy eating fruit cumber he'll get the sandwich in a minute there we go he approved it next up is no sauce easy peasy pasta stir-fry so I took a cup of boiled pasta peas and corn I'm using frozen you can use canned as well some broccoli some chopped garlic and salt to taste of course now you'll notice that I'm using a combination of butter and olive oil trust me this combination is gonna make this pasta very very yummy because we are not using any sauce here I'm going all in with butter and olive oil and because this is for kids is okay right okay so we're gonna saute our garlic first just give it a quick stir if the oil is hard it's not gonna take too long to saute the garlic make sure it doesn't burn and too bad we're gonna add our broccoli give it a quick stir as well and then we'll add peas and corn and again do not overcook because we want the veggies to stay crispy we don't want the veggies to turn mushy and then we'll finally add salt give it a quick stir and then add our pasta just mix it all bell time to turn the heat off and transfer this pasta to a ball and that's it there you go super simple right and I am using some mozzarella cheese and peanuts over the top because that's Ryan's favorite combination I hope you enjoyed kids healthy meal snack ideas with you today if you did please make sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel thanks so much for watching I'll be back soon with another video bye
