for me the personal leadership opportunity really is to build new skills learn from leaders in the field that are thinking about this work in different ways what motivated me most about being a part of this program was to figure out or to advocate that people aren't doomed to shorter lifespans because of a particular part of their lives they have no control over whether it's their race or their ethnicity or what zip code what zip code they were born in what we're all hoping to find I think is leaders from fields that are coming at the question of what is health and what is health equity from very different angles from design and architecture to the environment
