Healthy Lifestyle! Workout with Me + Healthy Veggie Bowl Recipe! vlogmas day 18

Wow all right we are a week out from Christmas so insane we are in Luke chapter 18 today honestly the very first verse I just absolutely love it says then he spoke a parable to them saying that men always ought to pray and not lose heart how we see over and over that Jesus went away to pray that he departed and he left the crowds to pray and I just think that this verse is there just for me at least to serve as like an encouragement that we are to keep praying and don't lose heart I just think of all the times that I really really struggled in whatever area in my life and I kind of lost heart like a lost heart to pray I really like that verse right off the bat I was like that is so encouraging because we need to not lose heart we really really need to just take heart you know what I mean the commentary says sometimes God doesn't answer our prayers immediately it says God always has a purpose to his ole's and he will always respond right on time remember the story of Hannah she desired to have a son and prayed intensely about it as she prayed she eventually pledged to God that if he would give her a son she would dedicate him completely to his service it's kind of a long commentary but the end of it says God wants to work in us through our prayers and that usually entails changing us more than anything else I really have found that to be true in my own life where I feel like something needs to change but then God actually makes me more patient or I feel like that person needs to change but then God actually makes me more forgiving and slow to anger we are being changed God wants to refine us and pull out those things in us that he knows are not good for us and then he wants to change in us to make us more beautiful and it's like a diamond being put under pressure ultimately God wants to change my heart more than anything else more than my situation more than my circumstances he wants to change me it's just a matter if we want to yield to the master Potter and trust that he is going to complete the work that he started and that he's gonna make everything beautiful in his time so that is gonna be it for Matthew today I just Matthew I literally just said Matthew okay well we're not reading Matthew has literally been reading Luke : that is gonna be it for Luke chapter 18 today right now I'm actually gonna go work out we're gonna warm up yeah [Applause] before the workout I'm going to do I'm going to turn on a song and I'm gonna pick bodyweight moves which you'll see and then just try to do as many rounds as possible within that song that's what I'm gonna do I'm just gonna move so let's do this [Applause] so I got that we were like two rounds with that do the same thing different song different moves [Applause] [Applause] don't judge my socks I live in Oregon it's freezing [Applause] I did it I feel really good I I don't know it just felt really good to move I haven't really talked to you guys about this yet but like you know this is a new like stage of my life especially with fitness I used to take spin classes and weight training classes multiple times a week at the gym and there's pros and cons obviously as dumb as this sounds that like my old place that I used to train like that was like my family and it was so much more than like a gym to me and I just feel like coming up here I really wanted to like I really wanted to kind of just like figure out my own style of like working out and moving and stuff this has challenged me you know like I don't have spin class twice a week anymore and I don't have weight training and I don't have circuit training and stuff like that like it's it's me and I'm I'm certified as a personal trainer now for the National Academy of Sports Medicine let me know if you guys want me to do a video on how I passed the test I literally watched every single youtube video on how to pass the NASA exam and I put it off for years because I was so scared and I'm such a perfectionist I was so scared of failing and whatever but I can do a whole video on overcoming failure whatever I just learned a lot over theirs but anyway I digress this is different for me so for those of you who don't have a gym membership who maybe don't have any equipment at all and you're just maybe like I don't know what to do like I don't know where to start let me know if you guys would want me to do like like challenges like where I do it with you maybe say like checking in on Instagram or even doing like Instagram live workouts or even like posting like maybe like a weekly recap vlog keep each other accountable and like do it together because I'm in a totally different stage of my life and like hey I am all about workout classes and going in community I think it's I mean honestly it's it's a way to stay committed and you you're statistically more likely to workout when you have a workout partner or a group that you train with you know community is really important and so for those of you that maybe don't pop out anymore kind of like I do maybe we can be like our own little community you know what you think let me know if you have any ideas suggestions comments   9. Yes please with the work out challenges. I would love that, I'm currently transforming my diet and trying to get into the habit of exercising and being consistent with it. One thing I ask, please share the Instagram work out video on Twitter (I follow you there).
