DIY Windshield De Icer Homemade Car De Icer Spray Ready your car for winter driving homemade windshield de-icer spray hi it’s AlaskaGranny Alaska Prepper yes winter weather is here and with that comes frozen windshields frozen car windows here’s an
easy solution to help melt the ice off of your car windows and help you get
going faster in winter weather all you need is a bottle of rubbing alcohol the alcohol comes in different strengths look for the rubbing alcohol that’s fifty percent
which means it’s fifty percent alcohol fifty percent water that’s the perfect
solution for melting the ice you can even find rubbing alcohol at 50 percent
strength at the Dollar Tree pour it into a clean spray bottle how easy is that to
make your own DIY windshield de-icer just like that spray the homemade window de icer on the car windshield the window is de-iced with the DIY window de icer here’s an up close on the
side window sprayed with the DIY de icer the nice thing about the rubbing alcohol in the spray bottle is
it’s not going to freeze you can leave it right in your car make sure you label

  10. Hi, Thanks for sharing this with us. I keep a stock of cans of de-icer that I purchased at Walmart, but you can't keep them in your car. This is great, I will pick up a number of bottles of the 50% alcohol on my next trip to DT. Sometimes spray bottle's tops will screw on other bottles I will see if a spray top will fit on one of the bottles I buy.

  11. Thanks…I think… Does the alcohol in the spray solution damage the paint and/or the rubber windshield wipers? Don't want to use it if it does…paint, windshield wipers and rubber windshield gaskets on cars these days cost WAAAAY more than I want to spend to replace due to a inexpensive windshield de icer that damages them!
