5 Reasons Why Fitbit Should Be Your Next Fitness Tracker Updated on October 17, 2019 By William Clement 41 Comments By William Clement 41 Comments Windows Central April 11, 2019 Hey everyone! So this video simply grew out of my frustration that everyone thinks I wear an Apple Watch in my videos and I have to constantly correct them in comments. I've been using and reviwing Fitbits since the Fitbit One (2012) and have reviewed Ionic and Versa recently here on this channel (and at Windows Central). Anyway, I'm a big fan of the company as they're the underdog compared to Samsung and Apple and still really the only ones who support Windows 10, so felt it'd be fun to talk about them in some detail. That and I hit the gym 5 days a week, bike on the weekends, etc. While that sounds good I'm always trying to improve and do more and these things help out. And no, I know some are going to say this is sponsored – it's not, we'd have to say that. In fact, we bought the Versa Lite just so I can try it out and compare it to the regular Versa. Anyway, if you want more content like this – general tech stuff – let me know, I have a lot of it and lot of thoughts, but if not, that's cool too. Take care, Windows fam. 👍 Reply Surya Teja Boga April 11, 2019 Amazing video 😍👌👌👌👌👌👌❤️👌❤️ Reply Anubhav X April 11, 2019 If you have any fitness tracker hit like. Reply Prateek Maru April 11, 2019 Great job i every time watching yr windows related videos 😊😊😊 Reply Chasen The Hype April 11, 2019 What watchface is it you use? Really dig it Reply Kavish Bansal April 11, 2019 Dan has a Tesla??? woah, do a video on it Reply Chris Wong April 11, 2019 I switched from Lumia 950 XL and Fitbit to Apple iPhone and Watch. I do like the Apple Watch a lot more than I expected to after using Fitbit and Band. I do miss the sleep tracking tho… Reply JohnRS April 11, 2019 One reason it won't be: Mi Band Reply Deva Prem April 11, 2019 Love to see more videos other than windows ✌️ Reply Vedant Goel April 11, 2019 I've been getting kinda curious about the recent fitness tracker trend and wanna buy one but I'm a bit hesitant to splurge, I've heard a lot about the mi band so which one's better the mi band 3 or one of the fitbit ones? Reply Kenneth Yaw Agyeman-Badu April 11, 2019 Hey Dan, how bout we connect on Fitbit? Been a user for a long time too. Reply Simmix April 11, 2019 I'll get one once they charge over usb-c Reply Ye Tun April 11, 2019 Yes, I like to know how you use your apple watch series 4 with your Tesla. Reply Rohit Aakash April 11, 2019 Which one would you recommend if you had to pick between Galaxy Watch Active and Fitbit Versa, given that battery life is not much of a concern but accuracy in fitness tracking is? Reply Patrick Murnyack April 11, 2019 You've apparently not wasted time trying to get music onto the Ionic's antiquated system. I love the "idea" of the fitbit but it still has some serious flaws. Reply Darcer's Tech April 11, 2019 A few things wrong…#1: The Apple Watch starts at $279. #2: Apple Watch does support the challenges with friends, etc. #3: A Garmin watch like the Vivoactive 3 ticks all of the boxes as well and happens to play along much better with 3rd party services and has wider external sensor support (like chest HR, bike cadence, etc.). Reply Mert Ergin April 11, 2019 Your laptop at the back will fall down.. Reply Chad Carrington April 11, 2019 Tesla video! and you didn't mention Garmin Reply ArieL D April 11, 2019 Cool dan , always on display ?? Thanks . Reply Lauri Ellonen April 11, 2019 I liked my Fitbit Versa until recently when the tracker just didn't want to connect for my current Android phone 🙁 Reply Donoven Marlowe April 11, 2019 Could I still buy a Pebble? Reply A D April 11, 2019 Love my Versa. I charge it when I take a shower even though it is waterproof. Reply darchon5 April 12, 2019 Nice overview, I did a ton of research recently before deciding that Fitbit is it. I went with an Inspire HR, imho a great bang-for-the-buck option. Surprised that you didn't mention Fitbit's newest Inspire line at all. Any opinions on the Inspire HR? Reply Drrck11 April 12, 2019 I love Fitbit Ionic. The Fitbit pay feature has caused some people to look at me envy seeing how easy it to pay for something without pulling out my wallet. Reply MiguelEther April 12, 2019 What's the name of your clock face? Reply Nick Gay April 12, 2019 Great job but I still rather Garmin Reply amnottabs April 12, 2019 would like to hear that Model 3 + Apple Watch explanation… maybe with your thoughts about the car as a bonus? (I know you will be stepping on Mr. Mobile's area reviewing a car but hey I'm sure he wouldn't mind) Reply Gordon Hutchinson April 12, 2019 Great video thanks.Which is better FitBit or Samsung Galaxy Watch?Have you done any comparison? Reply Chemy Torres April 12, 2019 What about a comparison with the amazfit? Reply NTH THN April 12, 2019 Sadly I stand with my Honor Band 4. 1/3 the price with solid software! Reply Ax El April 13, 2019 Fitbit's quality and customer service has been going down the drain nowadays with reports of them not honoring warranties and chargers breaking on its own. I'll stick to my Galaxy Watch Reply Sahas Anusara April 14, 2019 Good to see videos like this.Talk about Google wear by fossil Reply XxXStoneFingerXxX April 15, 2019 my honor view 10 wouldn't connect/sync with my fitbit ionic. compatibility is key in the end after all… i am running now with my honor band 4 Reply Raymond Heizer April 16, 2019 Spent a year researching watches and chose a Withings Steel HR Sport. Let’s see a comparison review. Reply Dimitar Karagyaurov April 16, 2019 50 years ago the fitness trackers did not exist, people were not as fat and in my opinion fitter. So give me a real reason why would I really need to buy a fitness tracker? Reply bridroid58 April 17, 2019 Would be cool to see reviews comparisons of different andriod watches. Don't want to see anything on apple watch, you tube's already saturated enough with apple stuff. Reply Nikolay Megdanov April 29, 2019 You are a Fitbit fan, you seem to have some cash, but you don't have the flagship? Ionic is their best tracker by far, but have in mind they put tech in there which they promised to utilize but still haven't. The apnea stuff has been promised for years now already and the Ionic should have been the device to debut this. Don't get me wrong, I really like mine and the sleep tracking is the best, there are just a lot of things that they screwed up or promised but never delivered. The moment the other vendors catch up on sleep tracking Fitbit is gone imo if they don't get the os properly done and start delivering on their promises. Reply Francois van der Sluis May 4, 2019 one reason why i don't buy fitbit anymore, it doesn't work with my current phone. With my previous phone it all worked well and had 2 different fitbits. Reply Mihnea Lazăr July 3, 2019 I hate it has an LCD Reply Ryan S July 14, 2019 fitbit versa or Withings Steel HR Sport? i steering towards Withings. Versa looks more like lady's watch. Cannot make up my mind. anyone help? 🙁 Reply Kai Hall September 20, 2019 Whats the name of Ur clockface Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
