3 Healthy & Easy Lunch Recipes (Vegan & Gluten Free!)

hey guys three I am is the closest thing to me that is a prophet this night Jeremih hey guys welcome to my kitchen where we keep knives and food making the food today I am doing a three healthy recipes for back to school lunches that was probably not the right order of house just to say this but I'm tired and that's the things that are happening okay I buy for the first recipe we're making a mason jar salad which is super easy and perfect to bring to school or to work so your started with the mason jar some veggies some greens and any of your favorite salad toppings so customize it to whatever you like start with your mason jar add two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar you could also add olive oil here or basically your favorite salad dressing I just like using balsamic vinegar and pepper so that's what I'm going to be using to dress my salad but you want to put the dressing on the bottom next go in with 1/4 of a chopped cucumber that I'm going to go in with some shredded carrots some red onions a few chopped beets some chopped cremini mushrooms some have red cherry tomatoes and then I'm going to go in with my protein and add some cooked red quinoa but you could also add chicken or fish or anything like that that you want now it's time to fill the rest with any of your green mix and you want to shove this on in here and just push it and push it and push it until you can't fit any more greens then you're gonna seal the lid and you're ready this corn and bean salad is actually inspired but my mom's recipe and I love it and the base of it is some black beans garbanzo beans corn and then any other veggies that you want and any kind of dressing that you like it's kind of a Mexican inspired so I'm going to go in with half a cup of drained and rinsed black beans and then 1/2 a cup of drain and rinsed garbanzo beans you could change out the beans for what you like but I love these and then I'm going in with a full cup of corn because I am obsessed with corn and it's cooked by the way then I'm going in with some red bell pepper some chopped red onion and of course my love of cherry tomatoes got to get those in there finally I'm going to add with a lot of cilantro but if you don't like it don't add any and then I'm going to go in with half of a squeeze or a full squeeze of half of a lime and then again balsamic vinegar you could put olive oil on this or anything like that but I love the taste and the acidity that this has especially with the creamy beans which have such good protein see you and go this final recipes for a Greek inspired hummus wrap and you're going to take some kalamata olives some romaine and some hummus and then whatever kind of wrap that you have I have a paleo wrap which is grain free it's made out of coconut and I'm going to be taking two spoonfuls or two tablespoons full of my favorite kind of hummus which is the organic kind from Trader Joe's I'm going to spread that on there add some chopped romaine lettuce that has a really nice crunch to it and then we're going in with some how-to cherry tomatoes and I'm going to turn the plate around because apparently I needed to that's a couple of really thin slivers of red onions and then my favorite which are kalamata olives which you find in a Greek salad so this kind of is like a Greek salad but in a wrap so attempt to wrap it and enjoy ok guys I hope you enjoyed this video make sure give it a thumbs up if you did and let me know in the comments down below if you want to see more healthy eating recipes tile videos I love to cook so I thought these would be kind of fun if you guys recreate these recipes I would love to see them so make sure to use the hashtag a lunch with Megan and post it on Twitter or Instagram so I can see it and go on and let go stone and be creepy and then stalk the pictures of you and like your friends and start liking them and then something I'm commenting on they're like homecoming pictures creepy or we're fun you decide let me know what your favorite thing to eat for lunch is in the comments down below and I hope you guys food doodles and I was feel mixed

I have ciliac disease, which means I have a major alergy to gluten I have had this all my life and it has slowly progressed, I used to be able to eat 2 servings of gluten every day for about six years . Please keep in mind I am only twelve. But recently I had a hudge alergic reaction wich left me hospitalized for a week…. so I can no longer have any gluten. It has been a struggle to find good food that is gluten free. SO THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO IT REALLY HELPED ME OUT.๐Ÿ˜Š
